How to have the most fun at the Hard Rock Hotel?

Here’s what you need to know about the Hard Rock Hotel

You’re probably familiar with Hard Rock Cafes around the world, but this site takes the concept to a whole new level. Kuta’s Hard Rock Hotel is more than just a café. It’s three full restaurants and several bars, a hotel, a spa, a live music venue, a rock museum. Most importantly it is the location for the best foam parties in Bali. All featuring the iconic Hard Rock art style, with memorabilia of the world of rock on the walls all around the hotel. And it’s all located in the heart of Kuta, just across from Kuta Beach and a short stroll from the busy shopping streets. Come and spend a day and night at Hard Rock Hotel Kuta – you’ll have a ball.

All the ingredients to make you feel pampered

Spend some time lying around the fabulous pool, which boasts of being the largest freeform swimming pool in Kuta with a sand island for sunbathing. You can rent a cabana for the day, and just lie back and relax, just breaking off to get a drink at Splash, the sunken bar on Sand Island.

When you’ve had enough of sunning yourself, book in at the Rock spa, which offers a wide range of treatments, including traditional Balinese massage, as well as use of the sauna and steam room.

Take the best plunge with your family at a sensational foam party

It’s not just about me-time though: Hard Rock also offers some great options for family time. Come on a Friday with the kids and enjoy their Ultimate Foam party. There’s a DJ, and lockers to keep you belongings secure. The foam parties are held from 4pm to 5.30pm, and cost IDR125,000 per person.

If you don’t fancy the foam party, there are plenty of other family activities on offer – surf board racing, water polo, paddle boat racing, beach volley ball and a kids’ Olympic Games. You can even try out rock climbing. For the older children, there’s also a recording studio. There’s also a kids’ club for children aged 4 to 12, and a teens club for the 13-17 year olds, where they can use the gaming lounge, pool tables, private cinema area and DJ booth.

Spotlight on dining: the best of the restaurants

Hungry? Choose a restaurant, any restaurant. You’ve got the eponymous Hard Rock Café Bali of course, but you also have Jamie’s Italian Kuta Beach, Splash Bistro, Starz Diner and Starz Deli, Sunset Point and The Shack bar, all vying to feed and water you.

For the full Hard Rock experience, head to the Hard Rock Café and feast on one of their famous burgers while catching some live music.  It’s open from 11.30 am to 1 am on weekdays, and to 2 am on weekends. Jamie’s Italian features rustic style dishes and art by local artists, an open kitchen and a sunny terrace onto the street. Splash Bistro, an al fresco dining spot by the pool, is a great option if you’re craving wood-fired pizza, or a pasta dish. It’s also great for a cocktail. Starz Diner is an all-day restaurant specialising in classic and contemporary Asian dishes. Starz Deli is a casual option. It’s a New York style deli that offers coffee, sweet treats and take out. If you want something light to eat with your cocktail, try Sunset Point, which is open till 9 pm. And don’t forget The Shack for all your liquid refreshment needs.

Blow your mind (and ears) with a rock and roll evening

Centerstage acts as the hotel lobby but it’s also a bar, a rock museum and even a live music venue. You can get light meals and snacks here too. There’s a live band every night here, from 8.30 pm to 12 midnight, so don’t miss out on the fun. Hard Rock Bali also puts on special events and parties, so keep an eye on their calendar.
