You’ll love it because of its modern architecture, spacious open plan living areas and private pools. You’ll stay because of the great location and 5star service.

Live it up in Canggu in these two interconnected four bed villas that make up an 8bed listing. Spend all day by the two pools, arrange a bartender and taste the best cocktails Bali has to offer. Book an in-house massage, fill up the bathtub and pamper yourself. At night, order the best pizza from Bottega Italiana and savour it with your friends (if you are more than 10 people you will have to split between two dining areas). Then go explore Canggu’s party scene. Next day repeat all over again.

You cannot claim to know the Gu (slung for Canggu) if you have not stayed in a pool villa or should we say a two pool listing? If you have not had at least one smoothie bowl, an avocado spread and a nasi goreng (fried rice). If you have not taken an Instagram selfie at the beach, tried at least one surf lesson, got drunk on Bintangs at sunset and came crawling home from Black Sand Brewery in Batu Bolong. Good news: thanks to the villas’ location all of the above is fairly easy.

The villas themselves are interconnected via a garden door, while each is independent with its one pool, open concept living space that features a dining area, lounge with smart TV with Netflix and a modern kitchen. Around the pool lies a barbecue space and a shaded chill space. As for the bedroom suites, the first villa has three king size bedrooms and one twin bedroom, while the other villa has three double (one king and two queen size) and one twin bedroom. Needless to say that all bathrooms have AC, ceiling fan, built in wardrobes, office space, en-suite luxury bathrooms and some have private lounge spaces and balconies. The master bedrooms (one per villa) are larger in size and have a bathtub in the en-suite bathroom.

Additional info:

Villas’ capacity:

The villas can fit up to 20 people. For more than 16 people, we will add an extra folding bed per person per room free of charge (4 in total).

Breakfast:

We partner with a local café and can order breakfast from there to eat at the dining areas of the villas at extra cost.

Lunch/Dinner:

The villa staff can arrange a simple barbecue at extra cost. For something more complicated, the villas are in a very central location in Berawa, Canggu and the staff can help to download and use the Gocek app for ordering restaurant and café meal deliveries to the villas.

Curfew:

As Canggu is a residential area, music needs to be turned off by 11pm.

The neighbourhood:

Following COVID, Berawa has become the hottest spot in town. Anyone who is anyone wants to make their presence known at least once in the hood of Berawa. Staying at a villa just steps away from all the trendy restos and cafés of Berawa is a privilege few can claim to have.

So below our hot list of restos and cafés to see and be seen in:

When it comes to brunch, you cannot miss Baked. Always with a queue and always tight to sit (let alone find parking space), this café has a casual atmosphere, crunchy croissants, coffee to die for and other baked goodness. Lusa by Suka is also a great pick and an all round option from morning to night.

One of our favourite places is Warung Tiga at Nelayan Street. It is a buffet style resto that has endless options from Eggs Benedict, to lasagne to quesadillas to anything you can wish for, and all of these at a great bargain price. Talking about value for money brunches and going back to Berawa, Hungry Bird and Satu Satu serve the best coffee and have a great breakfast choice. Cinta café and Nude with its yummy poke bowls are also definitely worth a visit.

Hunger aside, a visit to the beach is a must. For a luxe experience, head over to Finns Beach Club – they also have a VIP section – or try the newly opened Atlas Fest. Both beach clubs arrange for some oh-so-nice DJ parties that would be a pity to miss. Apart from these two, there are plenty of beach bars e.g. Naked Coconut and Caravan. And there is also Café Del Mar and La Brisa (at Echo Beach).

Berawa, and Canggu in general, has such a wide range of cuisines that it cannot disappoint even the most demanding customer. Anything you want you can find it here from Mexican, to Asian to Greek to Italian to French and Indonesian cuisine – just to name a few. Sushimi, Tygr and the most up-market Indigo are famous for their sushi and raw fish. Lola’s Cantina Mexicana is the place for margheritas and tacos especially during happy hour! Expect a party vibe. Bottega Italiana competes for the best pizza. Warung Goûthé is the place to go when it comes to French food. Do try the mushroom latte and pork loin.

For the parents, a visit to Tamora Gallery is a must. There is a free playground and a mini skate ramp. Every Friday there are also free movies for kids. Made’s Warung has a great playground, while parents can sit in the restaurant and watch their offspring. Finns Recreation with its bounce, bowling, water park and grass area will also keep everyone entertained. And last but not least, Parklife a bit further away, is a great choice to spend the whole day.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

We had a beautiful time at these villas! It was even better than the pictures. The local restaurants we went to were all delicious, the beach was a little dirtier than I’d like but was still really cool. The pools and the rooms were so chic, it was a really fun and relaxing place to hang in between adventures. We made a lot of memories!

We had everything we needed for the few days we were there and the pools were relaxing. The house keeping was spot on and the staff at the villas were very helpful with plenty of useful advice. I loved the barbecue at the villas. Highly recommended.

Place was great and just as advertised. Great location to do all sorts of cool stuff like surfing and hitting all the bars, and to just hang out by the pool.

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
