Tucked away in the rice fields of Tirta Tawar in Ubud, Basic House is anything but basic. Just a short drive from central Ubud, it combines contemporary tropical design with one of the island’s rare private padel courts. It’s the ultimate spot for corporate team-building, big family reunions, or epic getaways with your favourite crew.

The villa comfortably sleeps 12 guests across six bedrooms. Each room features a smart TV and views of the swimming pool and private padel court. The spacious living and dining areas open directly onto the pool terrace, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. These can be fully opened to create an open plan space or closed to create two separate rooms. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

The extensive outdoor space is perfect for group games, team exercises, or firing up the BBQ. Food is fully sorted with tasty Indonesian and Western meals available to order ahead. A dedicated villa manager and housekeeping crew keep things running smoothly, while in-villa spa sessions, private transport, and local tours can be easily arranged on request

The Wow Factor: Game, Set, Match

Let’s talk about the absolute showstopper. Basic House boasts its very own full-sized, international-standard padel court. It is rare for a private villa in Bali to offer this. You can smash a morning match, cool off with a dive into the massive swimming pool, and sip fresh coconut water at your private outdoor bar. This is resort-level living, completely customized for your group.

Space to Breathe

Indoors, there’s plenty of room for everyone to hang out together. The living space with ceiling fan and AC has sofas and a smart TV, and adjoins a spacious dining area that seats 10. This space connects directly to sun-drenched terraces. The ultra-modern chef’s kitchen is fully equipped. It’s perfect whether you want to cook your own meals or hire a private Balinese chef to feed the group.

Outside you’ll find a massive private swimming pool with a shallow zone for kids. Beside it are sun loungers overlooking the lush jungle view. Enjoy a padel tournament, then cool off in the modern sunken seating lounge by the pool. 

The entire place stays chilled with full air conditioning, fast internet keeps everyone online across the property, and there is a dedicated parking area out front with plenty of space for the group’s vehicles.

  • *If your flight arrives early, you can check in earlier, at 12 noon. Just leave your luggage at reception and enjoy the communal areas of your villa, while we prepare the rooms.

  • Payment policy: 50% deposit to be paid within 48 hours after booking confirmation, remaining 50% balance payment to be completed 14 days prior to arrival.

  • Cancellation policy: Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival may incur a 10% cancellation fee. For cancellations made 15-30 days before arrival, 25% of the deposit will be retained. For cancellations made 8-14 days before arrival, 50% of the deposit will be retained. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable, and the full payment will be retained.

  • *Note: Regardless of the cancellation policy of the villa, in the case of a health issue / physical disaster / flight cancellation, we will discuss options with you and find the best solution, either by issuing a ticket for an alternative date or by giving you a full 100% refund.
