Neighbourhood & Getting around
Neighbourhood
Villa Bangkuang sits in Sogsogan, on the edge of Seseh village, where rice fields, local temples and black-sand coastline shape the neighbourhood. Seseh Beach is around 300 metres from the villa, perfect for morning walks or sunset visits. Local cafés, restaurants and Pilates studios are also popping up along Jalan Pantai Seseh.
Beaches & Ocean Views
- Seseh Beach – Around 300 metres from the villa, this wide volcanic black-sand beach suits morning walks, sunset watching and experienced surfers. Swimming conditions can be rough, so check locally before entering the water.
- Munggu Beach – A quieter stretch of black-sand coastline south of Seseh, reached by a short drive and suited to walks, surfing and sunset views.
- Mengening Beach – Head north towards Cemagi for another uncrowded black-sand beach, with coastal temples, rocky sections and open ocean views.
- Villa Bangkuang Rooftop Terrace – Stay in and watch the sun drop across the rice fields towards the ocean from the villa’s elevated terrace.

- Lyma Beach – A beachfront restaurant and bar at Pantai Lima in Pererenan, serving food and cocktails with regular live entertainment.
- Luna Beach Club – Located further west at Nyanyi Beach, Luna has pools, direct beach access, daybeds, dining, DJs and scheduled fire and light shows. Earlier visits generally work better for families.
