Not too big not too small - just the right size for your group - this spacious 5bed villa will definitely not disappoint you.

We are talking about a 180-degree breathtaking view, a large private pool overlooking Jimbaran Bay, a home cinema room, and a spa. The upstairs bedrooms come with private balconies with jaw dropping views. The open space dining area calls for one too many in-house dinners. Pull your sleeves up, call the chef and get busy learning how to cook Nasi Goreng (fried rice – a popular local dish) in the fully equipped Western style kitchen.

Do not let the friendly smiles of the staff fool you. They definitely know what they are doing! They are here to serve you 24/7. Dinners, massages, cooking classes, endless dives in the pool, chilled Chardonnay with Balinese suckling pig for dinner, cocktails by the pool at sunset…You name it! And the cherry on top? Oh, there is a home cinema room where you can watch your favourite movie and relax.

There are 5 large bedrooms in total: 3 with king-size beds and 2 with twin beds. Do select the master bedroom. It is to die for! It is ultra-large, with a wooden floor and glass doors that lead to your private balcony with an oh-what-a-view of Jimbaran Bay. Needless to say, there is a luxury en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower.

The bedrooms are named and themed after the five elements: iron, wood, water, fire, and earth. All bedrooms are ultra-spacious and feature AC, walk-in closets, desk space, private lounge space, deposit box, and en-suite luxury bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. The bedrooms on the first floor have private balconies with jaw-dropping views of Jimbaran Bay and outside rain showers.

The neighbourhood:

The villa is located in Jimbaran and gets the best of both worlds: both Jimbaran and Nusa Dua. 10 minutes from the villa, you will find two of our favourite less touristy beaches, with white sand and clear blue waters. These are Melasti and Pandawa beaches. In contrast to most beaches in Bali, these beaches are kid friendly as they rarely have waves. Stay until sunset and watch the famous kecak dance at Melasti beach (insider tip: it will be much less crowded than the kecak dance performed at Uluwatu temple).

In terms of food, apart from the Jimbaran fish restaurants (see below) we definitely suggest: 1) Cuca for some serious tapas style food. Do try the honey-baked pumpkin salad, the smoked butterfish and the BBQ octopus and house cocktails 2) Sundara elegant beach club with luxe ocean views, a zero waste cocktail list and high end BBQ 3) Kisik Lounge & Seafood Restaurant mimicking a sea food market with oh-what-a-beach-view 4) Nelayan restaurant with its chic boho beach shack and its fusion of Mediterranean and Balinese cuisine. Whatever you do, do visit Samasta Lifestyle Village, an open space shopping mall with so much more to offer than a traditional Western mall. We are just saying family-friendly cafes, outdoor kiosks, and 17 outlets…

Jimbaran beach, also close by, with its famous fish market and fish restaurants by the beach is not to be missed. Here you will eat the freshest fish in Bali, often accompanied with traditional dancing. The fish restaurants by the beach are definitely touristic and a bit pricey but we promise you it is all worth it. For the braver ones, you can also select fresh fish, lobster and crabs and eat it at the fish market with your bare hands. They cook it for you on the spot and they put some delicious – often spicy – sauces on top.

GWK cultural park is definitely worth a visit. Here you will find the second tallest statue in the world. The Statue of Lord Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda is measured at a majestic height of 121 metres. To put this into perspective, New York’s Statue of Liberty stands at 93 metres. As well as the tallest statue in the world, GWK Park features different venues such as the Lotus Pond, Plaza Garuda presided over by the immense statue of Garuda, and Plaza Wisnu, amongst others. The Cultural Park also hosts various Balinese performances and restaurants. You can easily spend a day here if you wish to.

And if you are looking for an adrenaline boost, paragliding at Gunung Payung cliff and watersports at Nusa Dua (Tanjung Benoa beach) are both quite near. Water activities range from the more mainstream banana boat, roulette doughnut and snorkeling, to the more adventurous fly boarding, parasailing, jet skiing, wake boarding and water skiing. A relatively new toy is fly boarding where you can fly up to 10 metres from the sea while throwing some tricks to impress your friends. The best part? It is quite easy to do as it comes as naturally as walking. Another interesting one is the seawalker where you wear astronaut- like gear and literally walk on the bottom of the sea. In contrast to scuba diving (also available), you do not need any previous practice/knowledge. Tanjung Benoa is definitely the place to go if you are looking to spend your day doing watersports.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Very interesting villa. Stunning views and first class facilities. I enjoyed the spa and the pool in particular. The staff can cook dinner for you and I recommend to try the local dishes that they can make, it is better than many restaurants and very authentic Bali.

My family and I spent two weeks at the Tiara Mas and I strongly recommend this, if you like a high class villa with good service in a less developed (but still convenient) part of Bali. The villa is very well cared for, and the pool is wonderful with a very special view. The staff are truly excellent and made our holiday even better.

Wow! Our first trip to Bali and what an amazing experience! The villa was gorgeous with stunning views and an incredibly friendly staff. I felt like a movie star lounging in the pool and gazing out over the bay. It can be a bit intimidating to leave the villa at night since there's no street lighting, but the wonderful staff are always there to help arrange transport wherever you need to go.

Huge, modern and truly gorgeous! And only 30 minutes from the airport. The staff here were so amazing and helpful, they arranged for massages for us as well as preparing dinner one time. Would stay here again.

Amazing views! We could see all across the bay. The villa was very good for our family, clean and comfortable and with every facility we could want. We had the chef cook us Indonesian food many times and it was delicious. The villa was a little remote up a hill but the staff helped us with travel and even ordering some food.

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
