Villa Rumah Lotus offers a 2,700 sqm private estate in Payangan, North Ubud. With just three bedrooms for up to six guests, this gives guests far more outdoor space than most villas of this size. Rice field, jungle and mountain views frame the large swimming pool and wide garden lawns. The half-open lounge, dining area and bar all offer views of the surrounding landscape. The property also includes private parking and plenty of room for family holidays, retreats, barbecues and celebrations.

Relax in the dedicated spa room, available for in-villa treatments, while the villa manager, cook, housekeeper, gardener and security team take care of the daily details. We include one airport transfer, and can arrange weddings or standing events for up to 50 guests.

Big Ubud Views and an Infinity Pool to Yourself

The semi-open living area faces the 18 x 4-metre infinity pool, wide lawns and surrounding Ubud landscape. Sofas provide space for everyone to sit together, while the nearby bar works well for morning coffee or evening drinks. Beside the living area, the dining area features a long table with seating for eight. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven and espresso machine. There is also a washing machine.

Enjoy tucking into home-style Indonesian favourites or Western classics, freshly prepared by the villa cook.  The villa staff can set up barbecue meals in the garden, and guests can spend the rest of the day by the pool, in the gazebo or on the sun loungers. Guests can also book treatments in the private spa room, use the villa’s mountain bikes at no charge, and choose between a complimentary yoga class or cultural experience during their stay.

Small Weddings, Big Ubud Views

Villa Rumah Lotus can host private events and weddings for up to 50 guests in a standing setup. With its wide lawns, tropical gardens and an infinity pool, this villa offers a beautiful setting for intimate weddings, family celebrations and sunset gatherings, framed by rice fields, jungle and mountain views. 

Three King Suites, Two Terrazzo Bathtubs and Pool Views

There are three air-conditioned bedrooms for up to six guests, each furnished with a king-size four-poster bed and mosquito net. Each room has a writing desk, wardrobe, safety box, Smart TV with Netflix, and DVD player. The two largest suites extend to approximately 55 sqm, adding a sofa bed, double dressing room, and views across the pool, palm trees and rice paddies. Two bedrooms can be connected through the dressing-room doors, providing a practical setup for families with children.

The two larger suites have en-suite bathrooms with terrazzo bathtubs, twin basins and open-air showers. The smaller third suite has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower but no bathtub. Towels and bathroom amenities are provided in all three rooms.

  • *If your flight arrives early, you can check in earlier, at 12 noon. Just leave your luggage at reception and enjoy the communal areas of your villa, while we prepare the rooms.

  • Payment policy: 50% deposit to be paid within 48 hours after booking confirmation, remaining 50% balance payment to be completed 14 days prior to arrival.

  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival may incur a 10% cancellation fee. For cancellations made 15-30 days before arrival, 25% of the deposit will be retained. For cancellations made 8-14 days before arrival, 50% of the deposit will be retained. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable, and the full payment will be retained.

  • *Note: Regardless of the cancellation policy of the villa, in the case of a health issue / physical disaster / flight cancellation, we will discuss options with you and find the best solution, either by issuing a ticket for an alternative date or by giving you a full 100% refund.

The Neighbourhood

Villa Rumah Lotus is located on Jalan Raya Keliki, a village known for its rice fields, traditional family compounds and miniature Balinese paintings. It is ideal for guests seeking more space and fewer crowds.  Local art workshops, jungle pool clubs, cafés and walking routes are nearby, while Ubud Palace and Ubud Art Market are approximately 25-35 minutes away.

  • Akasha Restaurant & Venue: Located in Keliki, this bamboo venue serves vegetarian and plant-based dishes overlooking the rice fields. It is one of the closest destination restaurants to the villa. 
  • Jungle Fish Pool Bar: A restaurant and pool club in Sebali serving Indonesian and international dishes, cocktails and poolside snacks above the Wos River valley. 
  • Uma Tiki Restaurant: A casual garden restaurant serving Indonesian and Western dishes, suitable for breakfast, lunch or an informal group dinner. 
  • Akar by K-Club: A farm-to-table restaurant in Tegallalang specialising in charcoal-grilled dishes and steaks, with scheduled evening entertainment on selected nights.

  • Sanur Beach: Approximately 70-85 minutes away, with calmer water, a paved beachfront path and cafés suitable for families. 
  • Blue Lagoon, Padangbai: Around 90 minutes away and known for clear water, snorkelling and boat trips. Villa Rumah Lotus has rice field, jungle and mountain views rather than ocean views. 

Getting around:

We can provide a Hiace mini bus with driver for USD 89 = IDR 1,500,000 for 8 hours. Alternatively, our villa team can assist with motorbike rentals. Prices range from approximately USD 5.5 = IDR 80,000 for a standard Vario to USD 18 = IDR 250,000 for a premium NMAX.

Private drivers, airport transfers, day trips, and additional transport arrangements can also be organised by the villa team upon request.
