Kobe 2bed villa

,
Bali, Canggu
360 USD per night

When African vibes meet Western comforts in the Island of Gods, just metres away from the ocean…

For a true taste of the Gu (slung for Canggu area), you will have to check in at this gorgeous villa. Only 280 metres from Berawa beach and minutes away from the best cafés and restaurants of Berawa, this villa is the queen of Canggu. A perfect fit for a family or a group of friends, villa Kobe has a true African vibe with a modern twist. A 7m private pool, a comfy living room with satellite TV, a dining area and a modern kitchen make for an oh-so-nice Bali vacay. For some me-time at night, both bedroom suites are equipped with smart TVs with Netflix, all western comforts and en-suite luxury bathrooms.

For demanding travelers that want a central location, a modern villa and good value for money, this villa is for you. Not too big, not too small, with two bedroom suites, the villa can fit up to six people if we place one extra bed per bedroom (this comes at extra cost). Step into this villa and Berawa will literally be your oyster. Walking distance to Berawa beach (280 metres away), you can enjoy a morning coconut at the many beach warungs or the more glamorous Finns or Atlas Beach Fest. Cafés and restaurants – you name them – are also at your feet.

Ask the always smiling Bimo, villa manager, for an in-house breakfast and savour it at the dining area of your private villa. Go for a morning dip in the pool and suntan on the sunbeds all day long. Ask for an in-house massage at the outdoor bale that floats over the pool. Sit back and enjoy your favourite movie in the living room or even better in the privacy of your own bedroom suite. Use your modern kitchen to experiment with new food recipes or be lazy and do nothing cooking wise. Choose your own private bedroom – one has direct access to the pool, while the other has a private garden. Fill up your bathtub and enjoy a relaxing bath. Next day repeat all over again.

Additional info:

Villa capacity:

The villa can fit up to 6 people. For more than 4 people, we will add an extra bed per person per room.

Breakfast:

We partner with a local café and can order breakfast from there to eat at the dining area of the villa at extra cost.

Lunch/Dinner:

The villa staff can arrange a simple barbecue at extra cost. For something more complicated, the villa is in a very central location in Berawa, Canggu and the staff can help to download and use the Gocek app for ordering restaurant and café meal deliveries to the villa.

Curfew:

As Canggu is a residential area, music needs to be turned off by 11pm.

The neighbourhood:

Following COVID, Berawa has become the hottest spot in town. Anyone who is anyone wants to make their presence known at least once in the hood of Berawa. Staying at a villa just steps away from all the trendy restos and cafés of Berawa is a privilege few can claim to have.

So below our hot list of restos and cafés to see and be seen in:

When it comes to brunch, you cannot miss Baked. Always with a queue and always tight to sit (let alone find parking space), this café has a casual atmosphere, crunchy croissants, coffee to die for and other baked goodness. Lusa by Suka is also a great pick and an all round option from morning to night.

One of our favourite places is Warung Tiga at Nelayan Street. It is a buffet style resto that has endless options from Eggs Benedict, to lasagne to quesadillas to anything you can wish for, and all of these at a great bargain price. Talking about value for money brunches and going back to Berawa, Hungry Bird and Satu Satu serve the best coffee and have a great breakfast choice. Cinta café and Nude with its yummy poke bowls are also definitely worth a visit.

Hunger aside, a visit to the beach is a must. For a luxe experience, head over to Finns Beach Club – they also have a VIP section – or try the newly opened Atlas Fest. Both beach clubs arrange for some oh-so-nice DJ parties that would be a pity to miss. Apart from these two, there are plenty of beach bars e.g. Naked Coconut and Caravan. And there is also Café Del Mar and La Brisa (at Echo Beach).

Berawa, and Canggu in general, has such a wide range of cuisines that it cannot disappoint even the most demanding customer. Anything you want you can find it here from Mexican, to Asian to Greek to Italian to French and Indonesian cuisine – just to name a few. Sushimi, Tygr and the most up-market Indigo are famous for their sushi and raw fish. Lola’s Cantina Mexicana is the place for margheritas and tacos especially during happy hour! Expect a party vibe. Bottega Italiana competes for the best pizza. Warung Goûthé is the place to go when it comes to French food. Do try the mushroom latte and pork loin.

For the parents, a visit to Tamora Gallery is a must. There is a free playground and a mini skate ramp. Every Friday there are also free movies for kids. Made’s Warung has a great playground, while parents can sit in the restaurant and watch their offspring. Finns Recreation with its bounce, bowling, water park and grass area will also keep everyone entertained. And last but not least, Parklife a bit further away, is a great choice to spend the whole day.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Great place for hitting the beach and the beach clubs!! This is a nice villa but the best thing is the location, you can just roll out of bed, head to the beach, roll back for a shower and then stroll on over to the clubs till dawn. Nice private pool, beds were comfortable, villa was clean, staff were on hand for anything we needed.

Great location for surfing at Berawa! This was our reason for choosing this villa and we were happy that it was also really great for walking to some very nice places to eat too and some cool beach clubs. Villa is very nice, very clean and cool design, and it was great to have our own private pool. Bimo the manager is very helpful and sorted out a rafting trip for us too.

Perfect location walking distance to the beach and close to all the good restaurants. Very stylish villa with a nice pool and you can get a massage here (I recommend this, it was very relaxing). Beds were comfortable.

Great little villa with private pool and a short walk to the beach. The pool was very nice and had a sort of floating pavilion which was really cool. Nice big open lounge and kitchen, both were clean and comfortable. Lots of food options around.

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
