Live it up in with a home cinema, two private pools, massage beds, an exotic roof terrace and much more!

The owners of these two villas (a 4bed and a 2bed villa) definitely did their homework to satisfy even the most demanding of guests. In fact, one of the two villas – the Imperial House (4bed villa) – was originally built as a second home for the owners themselves, which translates into all the extravagance you can think of. We are talking 1.750m2 of space, amazing views of rice field paddies and a private home cinema, just to name a few of the amenities you will be able to enjoy.

An imposing entrance leads to a 17metre private pool with rice field views. Next to it lies an ultra-modern kitchen, living room and dining areas fully connected with a flat screen smart TV with Netflix and a music player. There is also a massage area set up, with two massage beds facing the rice paddy. Go upstairs and you will find a wonderful roof terrace overlooking the pool, but most importantly, your very own private home cinema room.

The 2bed villa – only 20 metres away and in the same complex – gives no reason to envy the luxury of the Imperial house. Here you can also find a dining area with a living room and modern kitchen overlooking the private pool. But the highlight of this villa is its exotic roof top terrace reserved for the lucky guests of the master bedroom suite upstairs. The roof top terrace is best enjoyed during sunset with a glass of sparkling wine or two.

The master bedroom suites of the Imperial House are to die for. Extremely spacious with a private lounge, walk in closets and en-suite bathrooms with open to nature bathtubs. The upstairs bedroom suites are equally jaw dropping with a private balcony that faces the pool and rice terrace. In terms of bedding configuration, the first suite has a king size bed and the other, two single beds. Needless to say, all bedrooms have a choice of AC and an overhead fan, a window couch that can be converted into a kid’s bed as well as an en-suite bathroom and separate dressing space. The 2bed villa also features two spacious king size bedroom suites – the upstairs master bedroom is slightly larger in size and has a private roof top terrace – while both have en-suite luxury bathrooms.

The neighbourhood:

Berawa beach is on your doorstep – literally a 2minute bike ride. Rent an umbrella, order a coconut and suntan on the beach all day. If you are looking for a bit of glamour, Finns Beach Club, just 3 metres from the beach, is your answer. Start your day with a coffee by the pool and end it with one too many mojitos at the buzzing swim-up bar. Do not forget to visit Atlas Beach Fest, which opened its doors in the summer of 2022. It prides itself as the biggest beach club in the world and the biggest nightclub in Bali.

For breakfast or brunch Ruko café – also walking distance from the villa – is a must-try. Hungry Bird is said to have the best latte in town and brunches that won’t hurt your pocket. Other breakfast options include Satu Satu – do order the Eggs Benedict – Cinta café and 7Islands. All these places have a lot of Western dishes, fresh fruit and Indonesian options for breakfast. Coffee ‘n Oven is more of a gourmet bakery/coffee place but still has decent breakfast options.

Once your stomach starts rumbling, try Milu by Nook with its Western/Indo fusion cuisine. If you like raw fish, do order the spicy tuna poke bowl and enjoy the view of the ricefields. For our vegetarian and vegan friends, Peloton Supershop is definitely worth a visit. Top selections include the Creamy Cheesy Lasagne with cashew cheeseor the ‘Power House Salad’ if you are up for something healthier. Warung Heboh offers a cheap and tasty Indonesian style buffet, perfect for a value for money lunch.

Dinner options in Berawa are endless, it just depends on what you are craving. For pizzas to die for, try Milk and Madu and La Baracca. Nude with its friendly smile and half raw food does great poke bowls, cocktails and smoothies. For top notch sushi go to the new Sushimi or the more expensive Indigo.

If you can summon the strength and it doesn’t break your heart to step out of Berawa, Batubolong (no worries you are still in Canggu) has some great food as well. Do try the real Javanese food at Casa Tua Canggu and you will be enchanted not only by its food but also by its setting which takes you to the heart of Java. Penny Lane says it all with its jaw dropping surroundings and delish tapas and cocktails. And of course do pay a visit to the vegetarian Shady Shack with its salads to die for.

For families, do not miss out on Finns Recreation Club – this place truly has it all, from a water park (Splash), to a bowling centre to an outside restaurant and a kids’ club. We also strongly recommend the huge playground at Made’s Warung which is open from breakfast to dinner. Not to forget, Tamora Gallery with its trendy playground and mini skate ramp is also a shopping and foodie paradise for adults.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Perfect villas. Myself and two other families stayed here and had a great holiday. The villas met all of our needs; plenty of space, 2 private pools, home cinema room and ultra spacious bedrooms. Nice to be within walking distance of bars, clubs and restaurants, as well the beach and be able to easily relax in the villa after.

Loved this place! A large group of us stayed here and had an amazing time. We had everything we needed for our stay and the villa was so luxurious. It was great to chill by the pool and also thoroughly enjoyed the home cinema room. Nice views around the villa and Berawa was a fun place to stay with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Totally amazing villas! I came here with a group of friends and had the best time. They had great, outdoor spaces; we enjoyed dinner and drinks outside most days by the fab, private pool with rice field view. The villa was so spacious, with luxury comfortable rooms for a good night’s sleep. Canggu was a cool spot to stay in with plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs with easy transportation to get around.

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
