They say ‘right place, right time’ and this is exactly what you’ll discover if you book this 8bed listing nestled in wonderful Berawa.

Sitting right in the heart of Berawa, these two 4bed villas only 100 metres apart from each other feel like a home away from home. They are brand new – one was built in 2023 – modern with huge glass doors allowing in plenty of sunlight. You will have two 8m pools, two open plan living room areas (each featuring a dining area, living room with smart flat screen TV with Netflix and a modern kitchen) plus 2 barbecue and shaded chilling areas by the two pools. You will also have eight bedrooms – four per villa – that are big enough to fit a big crowd and by big we mean a maximum of 20 people.

What you probably don’t know unless you come and visit is the liveness of Berawa Street. It is literally bustling with hipster cafés, gourmet restos, gyms, beach bars, trendy boutiques: a true shopping, entertainment and foodie paradise. And somewhere in the middle of the action lie these two 4bed villas that will soon become your base for exploring the area.

Catering to all tastes and moods, the two living rooms call for relaxed evenings with a film or two on Netflix or some light music. Up for a party mood? Why not use the bbq, bring in the booze and party around the pool (make sure music is switched off at 11pm as Canggu is a residential area). And for families, there is nothing better than two 8m pools for the kids to play and splash around plus plenty of restos and cafés to order take aways from and enjoy int the two dining areas of the villas. The staff can also arrange babysitting, while the parents pamper themselves with some well-deserved in-house massages.

All eight bedrooms have double beds (three king size and eight queen size) that come with en-suite luxury bathrooms, AC, ceiling fan, built-in wardrobes and office space, while some have private lounge spaces and balconies. For a group larger than 16 people, we can place at no cost four extra folding beds (one per room). We also suggest to sneakily choose for yourselves the two master bedrooms (one per villa) that are more spacious and have a private balcony and a bathtub in addition to the shower in their own en-suite luxury bathroom.

Additional info:

Villas’ capacity:

The villas can fit up to 20 people. For more than 16 people, we will add an extra folding bed per person per room free of charge.

Breakfast:

We partner with a local café and can order breakfast from there to eat at the dining areas of the villas at extra cost.

Lunch/Dinner:

The villa staff can arrange a simple barbecue at extra cost. For something more complicated, the villas are in a very central location in Berawa, Canggu and the staff can help to download and use the Gocek app for ordering restaurant and café meal deliveries to the villas.

Curfew:

As Canggu is a residential area, music needs to be turned off by 11pm.

The neighbourhood:

Following COVID, Berawa has become the hottest spot in town. Anyone who is anyone wants to make their presence known at least once in the hood of Berawa. Staying at a villa just steps away from all the trendy restos and cafés of Berawa is a privilege few can claim to have.

So below our hot list of restos and cafés to see and be seen in:

When it comes to brunch, you cannot miss Baked. Always with a queue and always tight to sit (let alone find parking space), this café has a casual atmosphere, crunchy croissants, coffee to die for and other baked goodness. Lusa by Suka is also a great pick and an all round option from morning to night.

One of our favourite places is Warung Tiga at Nelayan Street. It is a buffet style resto that has endless options from Eggs Benedict, to lasagne to quesadillas to anything you can wish for, and all of these at a great bargain price. Talking about value for money brunches and going back to Berawa, Hungry Bird and Satu Satu serve the best coffee and have a great breakfast choice. Cinta café and Nude with its yummy poke bowls are also definitely worth a visit.

Hunger aside, a visit to the beach is a must. For a luxe experience, head over to Finns Beach Club – they also have a VIP section – or try the newly opened Atlas Fest. Both beach clubs arrange for some oh-so-nice DJ parties that would be a pity to miss. Apart from these two, there are plenty of beach bars e.g. Naked Coconut and Caravan. And there is also Café Del Mar and La Brisa (at Echo Beach).

Berawa, and Canggu in general, has such a wide range of cuisines that it cannot disappoint even the most demanding customer. Anything you want you can find it here from Mexican, to Asian to Greek to Italian to French and Indonesian cuisine – just to name a few. Sushimi, Tygr and the most up-market Indigo are famous for their sushi and raw fish. Lola’s Cantina Mexicana is the place for margheritas and tacos especially during happy hour! Expect a party vibe. Bottega Italiana competes for the best pizza. Warung Goûthé is the place to go when it comes to French food. Do try the mushroom latte and pork loin.

For the parents, a visit to Tamora Gallery is a must. There is a free playground and a mini skate ramp. Every Friday there are also free movies for kids. Made’s Warung has a great playground, while parents can sit in the restaurant and watch their offspring. Finns Recreation with its bounce, bowling, water park and grass area will also keep everyone entertained. And last but not least, Parklife a bit further away, is a great choice to spend the whole day.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Super cool villas in a really hip area, we loved it! The villas were gorgeous and we really enjoyed chilling by the pool with a few beers before hitting the town. And the beds were really comfy, which is important!! The only issue I had was that the hot water in the shower didn’t always last for as long as I’d like but aside from that, it was great.

Just to say that this is a really good option if you’re travelling with small children. We were nervous about this, but BCV really stepped up for us, providing extras like pool fences and sorting out a babysitter for one night. Lovely villas, and plenty to do in the local area.

Great villa and really helpful and responsive service from the villa staff and BCV. This is a really cool location, much better than Kuta! Villas were well cleaned and they both looked very new and well looked after. Everything in the villa was as advertised, six very happy customers here.

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
