This listing is suitable for a large group: invite your loved ones, your friends, and your extended family and enjoy the splendid view of Jimbaran Bay from any of the villas' two pools.

This is an 11bed listing of two very spacious 6bed and 5bed villas, only 170m apart from each other. Both villas are generous in space and have plenty of facilities to keep your group occupied. The 6bed villa – set in 6.070m2 – offers a gym, a home cinema, a  spa, and an outdoor yoga shala. There is also an infinity pool with a 180 degree view of Jimbaran Bay. And let’s not forget the enclosed dining area with its large glass windows and the two open space living room areas and bar.

The 5bed villa is also generous in space and features a large pool with an equally nice view all the way to Jimbaran Bay, an ultra-large enclosed pavilion with dining and living room, a separate cinema room, and a spa. Of course, there is also a fully equipped Western kitchen.

The staff is at your disposal at all times and can arrange multiple activities, from yoga lessons to Balinese cooking classes to Balinese dancing, meditation, or even Canang Sari offering (a Balinese offering) workshops. Activities are also offered outside the villa, including a water purification ceremony.

Sleepwise there are 11 bedrooms in total: 6 with king size beds, 1 with a queen bed and 4 with twin beds. Interesting to note that the bedrooms of each villa have different themes. The bedrooms in the 6bed villa are themed after different areas of Indonesia. There is even a guestbook explaining the culture behind the ornaments and decorations of each bedroom suite. The bedrooms of the 5bed villa are themed after the five elements: iron, wood, water, fire, and earth.

The master bedroom of the 6bed villa is to die for and consists of two rooms: one private living room and one featuring the main bedroom. It also has a plunge pool. The upstairs bedrooms in the 5bed villa have private balconies with oh-what-a-view of Jimbaran Bay.

All bedrooms feature office space, private lounge area, safety deposit box, hair dryer, AC, en-suite bathroom. Most rooms also have private balconies, day beds, and walk-in closets – while all bedrooms have closet space. Most en-suite bathrooms have 2 sinks and freestanding bathtubs (in addition to the shower).

The neighbourhood:

The villa is located in Jimbaran and gets the best of both worlds: both Jimbaran and Nusa Dua. 10 minutes from the villa, you will find two of our favourite less touristy beaches, with white sand and clear blue waters. These are Melasti and Pandawa beaches. In contrast to most beaches in Bali, these beaches are kid friendly as they rarely have waves. Stay until sunset and watch the famous kecak dance at Melasti beach (insider tip: it will be much less crowded than the kecak dance performed at Uluwatu temple).

In terms of food, apart from the Jimbaran fish restaurants (see below) we definitely suggest: 1) Cuca for some serious tapas style food. Do try the honey-baked pumpkin salad, the smoked butterfish and the BBQ octopus and house cocktails 2) Sundara elegant beach club with luxe ocean views, a zero waste cocktail list and high end BBQ 3) Kisik Lounge & Seafood Restaurant mimicking a sea food market with oh-what-a-beach-view 4) Nelayan restaurant with its chic boho beach shack and its fusion of Mediterranean and Balinese cuisine. Whatever you do, do visit Samasta Lifestyle Village, an open space shopping mall with so much more to offer than a traditional Western mall. We are just saying family-friendly cafes, outdoor kiosks, and 17 outlets…

Jimbaran beach, also close by, with its famous fish market and fish restaurants by the beach is not to be missed. Here you will eat the freshest fish in Bali, often accompanied with traditional dancing. The fish restaurants by the beach are definitely touristic and a bit pricey but we promise you it is all worth it. For the braver ones, you can also select fresh fish, lobster and crabs and eat it at the fish market with your bare hands. They cook it for you on the spot and they put some delicious – often spicy – sauces on top.

GWK cultural park is definitely worth a visit. Here you will find the second tallest statue in the world. The Statue of Lord Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda is measured at a majestic height of 121 metres. To put this into perspective, New York’s Statue of Liberty stands at 93 metres. As well as the tallest statue in the world, GWK Park features different venues such as the Lotus Pond, Plaza Garuda presided over by the immense statue of Garuda, and Plaza Wisnu, amongst others. The Cultural Park also hosts various Balinese performances and restaurants. You can easily spend a day here if you wish to.

And if you are looking for an adrenaline boost, paragliding at Gunung Payung cliff and watersports at Nusa Dua (Tanjung Benoa beach) are both quite near. Water activities range from the more mainstream banana boat, roulette doughnut and snorkeling, to the more adventurous fly boarding, parasailing, jet skiing, wake boarding and water skiing. A relatively new toy is fly boarding where you can fly up to 10 metres from the sea while throwing some tricks to impress your friends. The best part? It is quite easy to do as it comes as naturally as walking. Another interesting one is the seawalker where you wear astronaut- like gear and literally walk on the bottom of the sea. In contrast to scuba diving (also available), you do not need any previous practice/knowledge. Tanjung Benoa is definitely the place to go if you are looking to spend your day doing watersports.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Very comfortable villa. We stayed for almost one month and found everything to our liking. Our driver could show us many interesting things across the island and the chef prepared dinner like a 5 star restaurant, almost anything we wanted. The villas are well maintained and cleaned and we could find everything we needed. We used the cinema room many times and spent much time at the pool. I do not say this about many places, but truly excellent service.

Thank you Bali Comfy Villas! We booked this villa for our wedding and could not be happier or thank everyone enough. It was beautiful and the thoughtfulness of everyone involved took away most (not all!!) of my stress. The villa manager – ibu Indah - worked hard to welcome our guests, take good care of my grandparents and ensure everyone was comfortable. They also saved the day when we had a problem with the flowers and everything worked out perfectly! This is such a stunning location for a wedding, and we are so grateful for everything.

Our first time to Bali. These villas have the atmosphere of a luxury hotel with the staff very helpful and attentive, and so many nice facilities. The artistic decoration follows the Balinese culture and is very interesting and unique. The pools were both amazing. The villas are a little far from the beach but it is no problem, the staff can help with anything.

This was spot on for a big birthday bash! The oldies were in one villa and us not-so-oldies in the other. We all lived it up around the gorgeous pool with its stunning views over the bay. Bali Comfy Villas sorted out day trips with a driver for us, and the ladies got pampered with treatments and massages. The staff whipped up a special celebratory dinner for the birthday boy, and it was absolutely amazing. Loved every bit of it!

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
