Τhe Villa

Your own private hideaway! Cocoon yourselves in this oasis of serenity, just metres from the beach.

This peaceful haven is the perfect place to kick back and revive, with its beautiful gardens, koi fish pond, rice field views, private pool and super comfortable beds. Forget all your troubles and let us take care of you- our staff are here to bring you breakfast by the pool and you don’t need to lift a finger. All you need to do is lie on your sun lounger, sip a cocktail if you wish, and, when you can summon the energy, maybe stroll down to the beach, just metres away.

If you’re in need of some downtime, we’re here to help. This 3bed villa has everything you need for a perfect getaway. You can lounge in peace by the pool all day if you like, and if you’re in the mood for the full luxury treatment, for an extra fee we can arrange for you to have a massage right there on your sun lounger, or maybe you’d like to hire a private chef for the night. Take a break from all the lounging with a game of pool with your friends, or if you feel like breaking out, help yourself to a villa bicycle and go and explore the bars and restaurants of Berawa – they’re right on your doorstep.

However you choose to spend your day, you’re in for a great night’s sleep. All three bedrooms (all of which can be set up as double or twin, as you wish) have luxuriously comfortable mattresses and of course we’ve set you up with all you need, including AC, mosquito repellents and first aid kits, as well as some office space, a separate dressing area and a glorious open air bathroom.

*The villa can fit up to 9 people – for more than 6 people, we can add an extra bed per person per room.

*If you only need 2 bedrooms, this is also possible at a cheaper price. We will just lock the one extra bedroom and the villa will remain private only for you.

The neighbourhood:

Start your day with the best coffee in town at Hungry Bird and head straight off to Berawa beach to enjoy some well-deserved vitamin Sea. If you prefer something less fancy than Finns Beach Club, try one of the many ‘warungs’ (local beach bars) with sunbeds on the beach. Order a coconut and you’re all set for the day.

Other breakfast options include Satu Satu – do order the Eggs Benedict, it won’t hurt your pocket – Cinta café, Coffee ‘n Oven and Ruko café. All these places have a lot of Western dishes, fresh fruit and Indonesian options for breakfast. Coffee ‘n Oven is more of a gourmet bakery/coffee place but still has decent breakfast options.

Once your stomach starts rumbling, try Milu by Nook with its Western/Indo fusion cuisine. If you like raw fish, do order the spicy tuna poke bowl and enjoy the view of the ricefields. For our vegetarian and vegan friends, Peloton Supershop is definitely worth a visit. Top selections include the Creamy Cheesy Lasagne with cashew cheese or the ‘Power House Salad’ if you are up for something healthier.

Dinner options in Berawa are endless, depends on what you are craving. For pizzas to die for, try Milk and Madu and La Baracca. Nude with its friendly smile and half raw food does great poke bowls, cocktails and smoothies. For top notch sushi go to Koi or the more expensive Indigo and Ink in Tamora Gallery.

If  you can summon the strength and it doesn’t break your heart to step out of Berawa, Batubolong (no worries you are still in Canggu) has some great food as well. Do try the real Javanese food at Warung Dandelion and you will be enchanted not only by its food but also by its setting which takes you to the heart of Java. New comer Penny Lane says it all with its jaw dropping surroundings and delish tapas and cocktails. And of course do pay a visit to the legendary Betelnut – one of the first restaurants to open in Canggu – with its Betelnut salad still in our top three salad options.

For families, do not miss out on Finns Recreation Club – this place truly has it all, from a water park (Splash), to a bowling centre to an outside restaurant and a kids’ club. We also strongly recommend the huge playground at Made’s Warung which is open from breakfast to dinner. On a Friday, your little offspring can watch a kids’ movie for free. Not to forget, Tamora Gallery with its trendy playground and mini skate ramp is also a shopping and foodie paradise for adults.

Getting around:

Best way to get around Canggu is by bike. Motorbike rental per day is approximately 60.000 IDR (€3.5 or $4.5 USD), and no licence is needed.

If you are a family or big group of friends, you might prefer to rent a car. Car rental per day is approximately 200.000 – 300.000 IDR (€12 -€18 or $15 – $22 USD). To rent a car you need to have an international valid licence.

Just let us know and we can arrange for both motorbike and/or car rental.

Where do I even begin?! If you’re wanting to visit Bali this is the place to stay! The villa, the staff, the location…everything was amazing. Agus, Putu were so helpful and cheerful. Anna from BCV always there when I needed her – would reply to me even the craziest hours late at night when I remembered to ask her something. Highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Location for us 10/10. Service 10/10. House space and condition 10/10. We really loved how this villa soon became our home. Comfy, clean, good vibes. Will surely book this place again when back in Bali.

If you're looking for a staycation place just for two-three weeks or even a month especially now with the COVID 2nd wave in Europe, look no further! Good value for money, great place to work, you can walk to the beach daily. Though I am sure it is already booked up but do try to book!

The only villa I have come across in Bali that offers the option to have double or twin rooms. Most villas only have double rooms and if you get lucky you get a twin room. This was perfect for us as we could tell the staff what bedding arrangement we wanted. Apart from that, location, villa itself and staff were all great.

This is a great villa perfectly located next to the beach and next to restaurants and cafes and supermarkets in Berawa. The home is well maintained has many nice features and amenities including a fully equipped small kitchen, large bedrooms and a pool table area! The bbq you can get at the villa at an extra cost is also highly recommended. We liked being so close to many places to eat and a few small markets all within walking distance. Our children loved the garden, the fish pond and the pool. There were only four of us but could easily have accommodated another two people. This home will be our new "go to" when looking for a beach vacation and we are looking forward to returning.
