Τhe Villa

Your stairway to heaven: a private secluded oasis right next to downtown Berawa.

Relax and suntan all day long. Take a bicycle and explore the nearby rice fields. Go for a vegan brunch at Peloton. Take a walk by the beach from Berawa all the way to Batu Bolong. If you are brave enough, take a surf lesson. Sip your sunset coconut. Break with the tourist stereotype and take the best sunset picture. Go beach bar hopping. End your night with a dip in the pool and one too many cocktails.

A family, party or business trip villa:

You can call it a family villa, a party villa, a business trip villa, a retreat villa: your call. No matter your need, this villa has everything you want. If you are a family, there is a free high chair, while a baby cot, baby sitter and pool fence can be easily arranged. For parties, bring on the mood and we will bring the food and drinks. For a business trip, in-home buffets by the pool and reliable internet is at your disposal. And for your special retreat, we will help arrange morning yoga or an evening meditation class by the pool. The open-air living room space is good for evening projections or team building exercises.

The bedrooms:

The only thing you might have a problem with is choosing your own bedroom. Should you go with one of the two bedrooms downstairs next to the pool? Should you go for the secluded upstairs bedroom? We know decisions can be difficult at times. No matter what your choice, all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom suite downstairs also has a bathtub together with a shower.

The communal areas:

As for the communal areas, they will definitely not disappoint. The pool deck calls for endless suntanning, Bali style. The living room area is perfect for an evening cocktail. The fully equipped kitchen is there for you to experiment with Indonesian cuisine. And if you are too lazy, just tell the staff to arrange for an in-home dinner at the 6pax dining room.

The neighbourhood:

Finns Recreation Club is on your doorstep, literally less than 1km away. This place truly has it all, from a water park (Splash), to a bowling centre to an outside restaurant and a kids’ club.

For the beach lovers, Berawa beach is only a 5-minute bike ride away. Rent an umbrella, order a coconut and suntan on the beach all day. If you are looking for a bit of glamour, Finns Beach Club, just 3 metres from the beach, is your answer. Start your day with a coffee by the pool and end it with one too many mojitos at the buzzing swim-up bar.

For breakfast or brunch Ruko café – also walking distance from the villa – is a must-try. Do order a granola fruit bowl at Bali Bowls next door. Hungry Bird is said to have the best latte in town and brunches that won’t hurt your pocket.

Do not forget to visit the brand new Tamora Square with its one of a kind playground and mini skate ramp. We personally love Missibu’s manual brew coffee and smoothie bowl for brunch. Ink’s sushi rolls, sticky karaage chicken and Ooey-Gooey pork belly are to die for. If you go on a Saturday afternoon there is free acoustic music and sometimes they have kids’ movies at the upstairs grass area.

If you are a family, we also strongly recommend the huge playground at the Joglo which is open from breakfast to dinner. On a Friday, your little offspring can watch a kids’ movie for free. La Casita’s playground is also interesting. Your kids can buy and sell vegetables at the market or take a slide down from the tree house.

Warung Heboh offers a cheap and tasty Indonesian style buffet, perfect for a value for money lunch. Balifornia chicken rolls are also ideal for a quick lunch. And for our vegan friends, do try Peloton’s ‘Tour de Bali’ or ‘Rouleur Wrap’ dishes.

Berawa Kitchen with its many food stands and huge garden is an interesting option for dinner. Sometimes this place also has live concerts. If you love skateboarding, go to Konkrete and order a charcoal beef burger while looking in awe at the skaters throwing tricks at the skate bowl just in front. Do try the mouthwatering ice cream at the Creamery which is made in front of you with liquid nitrogen!
