Τhe Villa

With 6 bedrooms and 2 pools, this villa –which is made up of two interconnected 3bed villas – is big enough to comfortably fit all your family or friends. Get everyone together, and have some much deserved fun and relaxation in the sun. And no matter if your kids are into sandcastles or surfing, the beach is right there, just a short walk from the villa. With great bars and restaurants too, this holiday will be fun for all the family!

Whether it’s a reunion, a celebration or just a long awaited holiday, this spacious villa has everything you need to keep your family and friends happy. Our staff will help you start the day right with a delicious breakfast of your choice and if you choose, we can arrange for a chef to take care of your dinner too.

Let the kids splash around in the two private pools all day while you relax on a sun lounger with a cocktail, and maybe even get a massage. Later, teach everyone how to play pool, watch a DVD, or turn up the sound and get everyone dancing! If you’re keen to explore, the beach is just 280 metres away, and we’ve provided you with bikes so you can get out a little further afield and ride through the rice fields or visit one of Berawa’s great cafes. There’s lots for children to do in the area too – children of all ages will have a great time spending a day at Finn’s Recreation Club, and so will you! And, if the adults would like some child-free time, we can also offer a babysitting service.

Our six bedrooms are easily adjustable to your needs, with each one able to be configured as either a double bedroom or a twin bedroom, so take your pick. It goes without saying that they all come equipped with air conditioning, and are super comfortable. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed.

*The villa can fit up to 18 people – for more than 12 people, we can add an extra bed per person per room.

The neighbourhood:

Start your day with the best coffee in town at Hungry Bird and head straight off to Berawa beach to enjoy some well-deserved vitamin Sea. If you prefer something less fancy than Finns Beach Club, try one of the many ‘warungs’ (local beach bars) with sunbeds on the beach. Order a coconut and you’re all set for the day.

Other breakfast options include Satu Satu – do order the Eggs Benedict, it won’t hurt your pocket – Cinta café, Coffee ‘n Oven and Ruko café. All these places have a lot of Western dishes, fresh fruit and Indonesian options for breakfast. Coffee ‘n Oven is more of a gourmet bakery/coffee place but still has decent breakfast options.

Once your stomach starts rumbling, try Milu by Nook with its Western/Indo fusion cuisine. If you like raw fish, do order the spicy tuna poke bowl and enjoy the view of the ricefields. For our vegetarian and vegan friends, Peloton Supershop is definitely worth a visit. Top selections include the Creamy Cheesy Lasagne with cashew cheese or the ‘Power House Salad’ if you are up for something healthier.

Dinner options in Berawa are endless, depends on what you are craving. For pizzas to die for, try Milk and Madu and La Baracca. Nude with its friendly smile and half raw food does great poke bowls, cocktails and smoothies. For top notch sushi go to Koi or the more expensive Indigo and Ink in Tamora Gallery.

If  you can summon the strength and it doesn’t break your heart to step out of Berawa, Batubolong (no worries you are still in Canggu) has some great food as well. Do try the real Javanese food at Warung Dandelion and you will be enchanted not only by its food but also by its setting which takes you to the heart of Java. New comer Penny Lane says it all with its jaw dropping surroundings and delish tapas and cocktails. And of course do pay a visit to the legendary Betelnut – one of the first restaurants to open in Canggu – with its Betelnut salad still in our top three salad options.

For families, do not miss out on Finns Recreation Club – this place truly has it all, from a water park (Splash), to a bowling centre to an outside restaurant and a kids’ club. We also strongly recommend the huge playground at Made’s Warung which is open from breakfast to dinner. On a Friday, your little offspring can watch a kids’ movie for free. Not to forget, Tamora Gallery with its trendy playground and mini skate ramp is also a shopping and foodie paradise for adults.

Getting around:

Best way to get around Canggu is by bike. Motorbike rental per day is approximately 60.000 IDR (€3.5 or $4.5 USD), and no licence is needed.

If you are a family or big group of friends, you might prefer to rent a car. Car rental per day is approximately 200.000 – 300.000 IDR (€12 -€18 or $15 – $22 USD). To rent a car you need to have an international valid licence.

Just let us know and we can arrange for both motorbike and/or car rental.

After a long wait in customs at the airport, delayed flights and all the COVID anomaly you can never predict, we arrived quite late at the villa. Despite not being able to inform in advance about our delay, the staff were there patiently waiting for us at 1am after midnight. We will be forever grateful to the staff for this. The villas have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Big pool areas, pool tables, yummy breakfast, spacious bedrooms, friendly staff. Location is also very central.

First of all: awesome place to be! Everything you need is near from supermarket to cafes to restaurants to beach. Everything was 100% as described. Quiet place and large enough to fit 10 people. The fact that there are two villas connected by a garden door, two pools etc is great.

We stayed at this beautiful villas for 5 nights. Everything was as described. There were a lot of small amenities/touches which made the place really special such as the pool tables or the mosquito spray at each bedroom. The smiles of the staff made us feel like home at once. Best Bali experience we had so far!
