  • YOUR SECOND HOME IN BALI

Villa1046
Check Availability

One for the families: incredibly central and brand new, this is a gem you do not want to miss out on!

You will love: its location, its homey and modern feeling, its indoor entertainment room with flat screen smart TV with Netflix and home cinema, its sound system and speakers in both the living and pool areas, its two free bikes and treadmill, the upstairs veranda with two lounge areas and a huge chess set, its modern kitchen with its Nespresso machine, its AC on top of the bathtub of the master suite. You will also love the fact that you are on vacation in the island of Gods! How can you forget that?

This villa caters to all moods and tastes. There are two free bikes and a treadmill upstairs for the sport fanatics. Take the bikes and go explore the rice fields of Berawa or go on a treadmill marathon to keep fit. A huge chess set is also located on the upstairs veranda for one too many chess competitions. Families can enjoy the air conditioned privacy of the indoor entertainment room. Its flat screen smart TV has all your and your kids’ favourite movies and series on Netflix. If you are on for a party mood, turn the sound system on and let the music begin! (Please note that Canggu is a residential area so music needs to be turned off at 11pm – also no loud music is allowed). And what better way to come together as a family than to arrange an Indonesian dinner in the open space dining area overlooking the pool? As for the 12m private pool, it does sound too promising to miss out on for endless suntanning sessions for the adults and splashing around for the kids.

At night we’ve got you covered: all bedrooms have flat screen 50 inch TVs with satellite channels, while the TV in the master bedroom also has Netflix. There are 4 themed bedroom suites reflected in their distinct décor: downstairs the master bedroom or ‘Rose’ bedroom and the ‘Buddha’ bedroom suite and upstairs the ‘African’ and ‘Ocean’ suites. Three of the bedrooms have a king size (180*200cm) bed configuration (the master bedroom suite has a super king size bed 200*200cm), while the fourth one has two single beds. The bedroom suites, as you would imagine, do not lag behind in western comforts. They are all equipped with AC, ceiling fan, deposit box, private lounge space, desk space (three of them) and en-suite luxury bathrooms. There is also a sweet surprise for the guests in the master bedroom suite – apart from the fact that it is large in size – there is a bathtub with AC on top for some well-deserved pampering baths.

The neighbourhood:

Berawa is your oyster but that is only if you can bring yourself to consider stepping out of your newly found paradise. Walk to Nude with its friendly smiles and half raw food that does great poke bowls, cocktails and smoothies. Sip your coffee at Cinta café and select a table at the back to enjoy the view over the ricefields. Just next door, Dua Tiga knows how to do brunch, lunch and dinner and has extensive meal options to please even the most demanding customers, from the pure vegans to the full on carnivores. Do try the protein smoothie bowls with a strong coffee for breakfast.

Step into Hungry Bird and you are in for a bargain, the best latte in Berawa with some oh-so-yummy pancakes that won’t hurt your pocket. For the French lovers, 7islands is your ‘croissanterie a la Balinese’, a gourmet bakery/coffee place that also has decent breakfast options. And of course we couldn’t forget the yummy Eggs Benedict, smoothie bowls and peanut butter biscuits that come with your coffee at Satu Satu.

Now when it comes to lunch and dinner, we will be sure not to leave with an empty stomach. The choice just within the boundaries of Berawa is endless, from pure vegan options such as Peloton Supershop – highly recommended even to non-vegan clients – to sushi places such as Sushimi, Tygr and the more pricey Indigo to yummy Italian pizzerias including La Baracca and Milk and Madu just to name a few! Milu by Nook is also a must for its chill environment, rice field view or simply irresistible food. Do try the spicy tuna poke bowl or ‘ Milu’s Salad’.

If you can summon the strength and it doesn’t break your heart to step out of Berawa, Batubolong (no worries you are still in Canggu) has some great food as well. Do try the real Javanese food at Casa Tua and you will be enchanted not only by its food but also by its setting which takes you to the heart of Java. Penny Lane says it all with its jaw dropping surroundings and delish tapas and cocktails.

Canggu and especially Berawa is popular with families and there is a good reason for this. Tamora Gallery, a shopping and foodie paradise for adults, has also an interesting proposition for children. The ultra-high wooden castle, mini skate ramp and multiple level grass area are a favourite for kids. For some serious fun do try the water slides at Finns Recreation Club, the trampoline area (we are talking thousands of trampolines aligned one after the other) and the bowling space. But get ready to pay a generous price. Just off Berawa but still in Canggu, Parklife is worth a visit. The kids will go crazy at this place as it has everything they could dream of, from an inflatable castle to a playground to movies even to costumes to dress up in. It also offers some decent food and some chilled beers so adults can enjoy it too.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Property is located close to the main part of Berawa so is good for going to bars, restaurants, etc. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Really cool to have a treadmill in the villa! We had a good time and would recommend.

We visited here with our three children (from 8 to teens) and I recommend it. Firstly, the staff here are very patient with young people and very helpful. Our teen was very happy with the sound system and Netflix while our younger children really enjoyed the pool and learning about chess! It is a fun area with plenty to keep everyone occupied and we all enjoyed trying out surfing with Surf Is Up Bali (ask Anna). The villa is very nice and clean.

Excellent. This is quite a new villa so is in very good condition and exactly like the photos. Clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed having access to the bicycles to explore the area: this is a really good location as we could cycle out to interesting sights and also in the evening walk to a large choice of excellent restaurants. Also thank you to the staff for their advice and help that made our stay even more enjoyable.

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
