  • YOUR SECOND HOME IN BALI

This 4bed villa screams perfection from each and every detail – book it and you will find out for yourself!

Ample space (600m2), a western feel, expansive living room and white interiors, make this villa a dream home-away-from-home minutes away from the beach. Jumah 4bed villa truly has it all from a 20m private lap pool that flows around the master bedroom suite, to an ultra-modern bright, white kitchen to an upstairs TV room. Things will only get better if you take into account the smiles and excellent service you will get from the villa manager and staff and the meticulous care the gardener has put into the villa’s exotic garden. This detail is enough to convince you; every day Pak Gede (the gardener) plants different flowers that normally blossom and last 2-3 days.

The villa’s unique architecture allows for plenty of sunlight, which blends effortlessly with the nature that is surrounding the villa. As you walk in, you cannot miss the 20m private lap pool that has a kid-friendly shallow area. The sun loungers next to the pool call for endless tanning sessions, while the outdoor hanging curved chaise is ideal for a chilled chardonnay that fits perfectly with the famous Bali sunsets – that is if you don’t want to walk to the beach. There is also an outdoor bar and stools, which are the perfect space for an evening cocktail.

An expansive living room space including a large corner sofa and a coffee table overlook the pool and garden through the villa’s glass doors. Next to it lies the dining area that features a glass dining table and dining chairs that can easily fit a group of 10 people. There is also a modern, western style kitchen sure to awaken your culinary senses with all western amenities (oven, fridge, microwave, water dispenser with hot and cold options, cutlery, plates, pots & pans, just to name a few). Walk upstairs and you will find an entertainment area with a flat screen, smart TV with Netflix and home cinema to set the atmosphere right for a movie night, plus a separate kid’s area to give parents some privacy.

The master suite flows directly into the pool. Its Javanese décor gives the room a distinctive feel. Its walk-in closet will satisfy even the most demanding woman. The bathroom is spacious with 2 sinks, a bathtub (the bathtub only has cold water) and a rain shower (with hot and cold water). The other three bedroom suites do not fall behind in luxury and space. Their king size beds will guarantee a good night’s sleep, while they can also be converted into a work space with a bonus garden/pool view for the digital nomads. All the adjoining en-suite luxury bathrooms have bathtubs, rain showers and 2 sinks each, perfect for a couple. All bedrooms have a desk and ample storage space, AC and a security box.

The neighbourhood:

Berawa beach is on your doorstep – literally a 10 minute walk away. Rent an umbrella, order a coconut and suntan on the beach all day. If you are looking for a bit of glamour, Finns Beach Club, just 3 metres from the beach, is your answer. Start your day with a coffee by the pool and end it with one too many mojitos at the buzzing swim-up bar. Do not forget to visit Atlas Beach Fest, which opened its doors in the summer of 2022. It prides itself as the biggest beach club in the world and the biggest nightclub in Bali.

For breakfast or brunch Ruko café – also walking distance from the villa – is a must-try. Hungry Bird is said to have the best latte in town and brunches that won’t hurt your pocket. Other breakfast options include Satu Satu – do order the Eggs Benedict – Cinta café and 7Islands. All these places have a lot of Western dishes, fresh fruit and Indonesian options for breakfast. Coffee ‘n Oven is more of a gourmet bakery/coffee place but still has decent breakfast options.

Once your stomach starts rumbling, try Milu by Nook with its Western/Indo fusion cuisine. If you like raw fish, do order the spicy tuna poke bowl and enjoy the view of the ricefields. For our vegetarian and vegan friends, Peloton Supershop is definitely worth a visit. Top selections include the Creamy Cheesy Lasagne with cashew cheeseor the ‘Power House Salad’ if you are up for something healthier. Warung Heboh offers a cheap and tasty Indonesian style buffet, perfect for a value for money lunch.

Dinner options in Berawa are endless, it just depends on what you are craving. For pizzas to die for, try Milk and Madu and La Baracca. Nude with its friendly smile and half raw food does great poke bowls, cocktails and smoothies. For top notch sushi go to the new Sushimi or the more expensive Indigo.

If you can summon the strength and it doesn’t break your heart to step out of Berawa, Batubolong (no worries you are still in Canggu) has some great food as well. Do try the real Javanese food at Casa Tua Canggu and you will be enchanted not only by its food but also by its setting which takes you to the heart of Java. Penny Lane says it all with its jaw dropping surroundings and delish tapas and cocktails. And of course do pay a visit to the vegetarian Shady Shack with its salads to die for.

For families, do not miss out on Finns Recreation Club – this place truly has it all, from a water park (Splash), to a bowling centre to an outside restaurant and a kids’ club. We also strongly recommend the huge playground at Made’s Warung which is open from breakfast to dinner. Not to forget, Tamora Gallery with its trendy playground and mini skate ramp is also a shopping and foodie paradise for adults.

Getting around:

We can provide a 14seater Hiace mini bus with driver for $85 USD = 1.200.000 IDR for 8 hours or $55 US = 800.000 IDR for 5 hours. Alternatively, the staff can help rent a motorbike. Prices range from $5.5 USD = 80.000 IDR for a standard Vario to $18 US = 250.000 IDR for the more premium Nmax.

Perfect villa for our family vacation. The pool was perfect for the kids. Anita villa manager was there to help us whatever we needed. One day we arranged a dinner that was totally worth it. I would definitely recommend staying here! Loved the rain showers in the bathrooms, as well as the big bathtubs.

This villa was amazing! Beautiful, big pool, loads of spacious living areas and comfortable, bright bedrooms. Big kitchen to store our cold beers before we enjoyed them on the sun loungers by the pool. Also, loved the big bathtubs for a bit of relaxation.

One of our favorite highlights of this villa was the huge, luxurious pool we could open our bedroom doors to. The beds were really comfortable and with the big windows, the rooms were light and airy. We were lucky enough to choose the master bedroom that floats directly to the pool! We also really enjoyed having such a big, fully equipped kitchen as well as being close to a range of cafes and restaurants.

  • Seminyak

    thumb

Seminyak is the queen of our hearts. A chic tropical version of Paris.

You have not been to Seminyak if you have not strolled around its boutiques, gone to Petitenget for a coffee, had a real Balinese dinner at Made’s Warung, watched the sunset from Potato Head and ended up at a night club for one too many drinks.

  • Canggu

    thumb

Canggu takes a more laid back approach to life. Hipster is the word here.

Take your morning latte with coconut milk at one of the many organic cafes and go for a late lunch at Betelnut (one of the first restaurants to open here). If you don’t have a sunset photo by Batu Bolong beach and did not end up for a late beer at Old Man’s, you have not really been to Canggu.
