Neighbourhood & Getting around
Eat Street is your oyster! Just 2.5km away from the villa, this street has everything you need. Great shopping, great coffee and great food all lined up along 2km of pure happiness. Hop in the villa’s free car and start your day with a good coffee!
Revolver Espresso does great coffee with beans sourced from around the world, including partnerships with local farmers, and their very own roastery. The guys at Revolver do not joke when it comes to coffee and never get it wrong!
Now if you fancy a beach day, you can head off to Double6, with its chilled vibes and many beach warungs, to enjoy the sun. For a more glamorous beach day, Ku De Ta and Potato Head are calling your name! Time for some serious indulgence here!
If your stomach starts rumbling, both Potato Head and Ku De Ta as well as the beach warungs at Double6 offer good food. The restaurants at Potato Head for example range from casual pizza (Pizza Garden) to authentic Indonesian fine dining (Kaum) to seafood with a zero waste policy (Ijen). But do get ready to pay a generous price in these two beach clubs.
To be kind to your wallet and the environment, you can try the insta-friendly all-vegan Kynd café, famous both for generous salads and smoothie bowls. Or mingle with the locals and try out the Balinese Warung Nia – one of a dozen warungs on Eat Street that offer delicious buffet-style food. The house speciality pork ribs or the satay is to die for.
Shopping calls for bargain hunting at Seminyak Square or the upmarket Petitenget boutiques – your choice. And a much needed massage is a must by now, either on the premises of your villa or at one of the many ultra-cheap massage places you will find on your way.
While the night is still young, dinner choices include some fancy dining at Metis, Mamasan, Sardine, Sarong or La Lucciola, with some one of a kind pizza and a sea view. Or you can try Mexicola, Seminyak’s liveliest restaurant-slash-night-club, great for sharing fish tacos and Mexican plates, margheritas and some tequila shots. La Favela is also a can’t-miss party spot. Antique furniture, old bikes, pretty overgrown plants and some beautiful people is all you need to feel happy all night. For some ocean glamour, Ku De Ta knows to throw some one of a kind parties and of course we could not forget our favourite, Potato Head.
Getting around:
Best way to get around Seminyak is by bike. Motorbike rental per day is approximately 60.000 IDR (€3.5 or $4.5 USD), and no licence is needed.
If you are a family or big group of friends, you might prefer to rent a car. Car rental per day is approximately 200.000 – 300.000 IDR (€12 -€18 or $15 – $22 USD). To rent a car you need to have an international valid licence.
Just let us know and we can arrange for both motorbike and/or car rental.
